Senior Quantity Surveyor

Abatec is assisting their client, a reputable, regional civil engineering and groundworks contractor with the recruitment of a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Gloucestershire area. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and a working knowledge of NEC, JCT, and Bespoke contracts on commercial and domestic groundworks projects As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will: Maintain accurate records, control and reconcile costs and value, report variances against agreed performance, compliance, and finance targets. Take control of change management. Be involved in a review of current procedures and processes and assist in the implementation of new and revised processes where required. Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with: Previous experience working for Groundworks or Civil Engineering contractors. NEC, JCT, and Bespoke contract experience Strong commercial awareness and acumen. Degree, or similar, in Quantity Surveying. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office incl. Excel and Word.
