Simply Education is looking for a Primary School Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Daventry About the Role As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them to engage in lessons and build confidence in their learning. This role is ideal for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in the classroom. Provide 1:1 support for pupils who need additional guidance in their learning. Work with small groups of children to reinforce lesson objectives. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons. Support children with their social and emotional development, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role (desirable but not essential). A genuine passion for working with primary-aged children. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
