Job Title: Senior Care Assistant - Nights Salary: £14.54ph plus incentives Hours: Full-time, 7pm-7am (including alternate weekends) Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire Are you looking for an environment where you can thrive? What we offer: • Salary: Top quartile market salaries • Pay Rises: Annual performance-related pay increases of up to 8%, in addition to any cost-of-living increase • Holiday: 28 days, including bank holidays • Pension Scheme • Training: Fully funded relevant qualifications to help you progress, with a financial bonus of up to £500 • Referral Incentive: Earn up to £1,000 for referring a suitable team member • Meals: Low-cost meals at just £1 per course while on shift • Short Notice Shift Incentives • Employee Assistance Programme: Access to free 24/7 counselling and wellbeing advice • DBS Check: We cover the cost • Uniform: We provide uniforms (subject to fair use policy) Competencies for Senior Care Assistant: • Ability to work under pressure • Leadership skills • Excellent people skills • A caring and nurturing attitude • Positive and enthusiastic outlook • Good time management skills • Strong communication skills, both written and oral • Willingness to take on additional training Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Provide the highest level of care in supporting residents with daily living activities • Promote independence with a focus on choice, dignity, and respect, while enhancing physical and emotional wellbeing • Lead your shift, ensuring high standards are maintained and your team feels supported • Complete medication rounds and ensure documentation is accurate and error-free • Promote good practice in care, challenge poor practice, and address concerns as directed • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members and investigate complaints Essential Requirements: • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant • Awareness of Person-Centred Care Planning principles • Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and procedures to follow in the event of allegations • Live within 30 minutes of the workplace Preferred Requirements: • Two years’ experience in a similar role in a nursing/residential care setting • Experience caring for residents with dementia • NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or higher • Knowledge of the National Care Standards Act 2000 • Experience managing a team To apply, please send your CV to (url removed).
