Year 1 Teacher

Position: Year 1 Teacher Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: April 2025 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Daventry. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the learning journey of young children, helping them build a solid foundation for their future academic success. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience. Support and inspire children to reach their full potential, encouraging their curiosity and creativity.Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching in a primary school setting (Year 1 experience is desirable). Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for inspiring young learners and creating a positive learning environment. An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
