Fitter and Turner

Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime. Manufacture and repair mechanical components using lathes, milling machines, and other workshop tools. Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain high productivity levels. Adhere to planned maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with production teams to optimize machinery performance and improve operational efficiency. Ensure all equipment complies with health and safety regulations. Requirements: Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner (essential). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery. Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
