A leading manufacturing company in Benoni is seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 57 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, with a strong background in the manufacturing sector. This role is essential for ensuring efficient procurement strategies, supplier management, and cost optimization across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. Analyze and optimize procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant procurement regulations. Prepare and present regular purchasing reports to senior management. Lead and mentor the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals.
