Head of Finance

Position Overview: As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. You will play a key role in partnering with senior leadership to optimize financial performance, provide strategic insights, and support key business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in finance and a passion for the property sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes. Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the companys objectives. Oversee financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including JSE listing requirements. Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the financial health of the organization. Provide strategic insights to improve financial performance, including identifying opportunities for cost-saving and revenue growth. Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders. Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and investments. Support the preparation of the companys annual budget and long-term financial forecasts. Qualifications and Requirements: CA(SA). A minimum of 5 years of commercial finance experience, with at least 2 years within the property or real estate industry. Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in a complex, commercial environment. In-depth understanding of property finance, real estate investments, and capital management. Proven ability to work closely with senior management to drive business strategy and growth. Experience in dealing with JSE regulations and financial compliance requirements. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
