Production Shift Manager

Manufacturing Shift Manager - Pretoria East This person will report directly to the Production Manager and will be responsible for the efficient running of production on their shift. Responsibilities: Ensure quality standards and processes are adhered to during shifts Perform quality checks as per company procedures Coordinate maintenance activities Ensure machines are run as per agreed specifications Conduct walkthroughs of the production operation Ensure manufacturing is executed in accordance with the production plan Oversee and be involved in the logistical operations to ensure shipments are timeously prepared and dispatched Oversee operations in the packing facility Ensure compliance with all health & safety and FSSC standards and requirements Requirements: Minimum 3 years supervisory experience within a production / manufacturing environment. Relevant qualification will be an advantage. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery essential. Working knowledge of FMCG and Packaging industry. Own transport.
