Buyer/Planner – International Procurement & Inventory Management

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the procurement and planning of pharmaceutical finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels. Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers , ensuring compliance with global trade regulations. Manage the purchasing of controlled substances , adhering to strict regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, analyze inventory trends, and enhance supply chain efficiency . Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts , and resolve supply chain disruptions. Ensure accurate procurement documentation , including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and compliance records. Work closely with logistics and regulatory teams to facilitate seamless import processes. Minimum Requirements: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field. CIPS qualification will be an advantage. Minimum of 3 years in a Buyer/Planner role within the pharmaceutical industry . Experience managing international suppliers and finished goods in a global supply chain. Exposure to controlled substances procurement and regulatory compliance . Strong understanding of inventory management practices and ERP systems . Reporting Line: This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement .
