Senior Group accountant

As a Senior Group Accountant, you will play a vital role in financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and audit preparation. You will manage high-volume transactions while working closely with the Group Financial Manager. As a Senior Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: Prepare and review monthly management accountants and financial statements Handle VAT filing, income tax returns, and SARS compliance Conduct bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations Assist with audit preparations and financial compliance Work with multiple active companies, performing basic financial consolidations Manage high-volume transactions Identify and implement best practices to enhance financial controls What Do You Need?: Accounting degree (CA(SA) preferred but not required) 2-3 years experience in a similar role Strong Excel skills, Xero and SAGE experience is beneficial but not required Please note all successful applications will be contacted within two weeks of applying.
