Pr Eng Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, specification, and implementation of bulk diesel storage facilities, including tanks, piping, and associated mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., SANS, API, ASME, NFPA). Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and HAZOP reviews. Oversee project execution , ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency from concept to commissioning. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success. Requirements: ✔ BEng / BSc Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) ✔ Pr Eng (ECSA) registration Essential ✔ Minimum 8 years experience in bulk diesel fuel storage systems, including tanks, pipelines, and associated infrastructure ✔ Strong knowledge of API 650/653, ASME B31.3, NFPA 30, SANS 10131 and other relevant standards ✔ Experience in EPCM environments is highly advantageous ✔ Proven track record in project management, site supervision, and commissioning ✔ Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills Please forward your CV to cmcnallynetworkrecruitment.co.za
