Job Description

My client, a key player in the logistics and supply chain industry , is seeking a National Logistics Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and lead high-performance sales teams. This role requires a strategic sales leader with extensive experience in logistics, supply chain solutions, and business development across national and international markets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue in the logistics sector. Lead and manage a high-performing sales team , setting targets, coaching, and driving performance. Identify and develop new business opportunities , focusing on long-term client partnerships in freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and 3PL services . Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders . Oversee and drive contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and service agreements to maximize profitability. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales approaches and stay ahead of industry developments. Collaborate with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions. Implement sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Manage national accounts , ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, logistics best practices, and company policies . Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field . 10-15 years of experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry. Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience leading national sales teams. Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies in logistics and supply chain solutions. Strong background in 3PL, contract logistics, transportation, and distribution sales . Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics, and performance tracking tools . Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills . Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Willingness to travel nationally as required.
