Job Description Job Description Exhibit Builder/Carpenter We are recruiting talented Builders to work in our Cheshire, CT facility. Using your carpentry experience, you’ll use table saws, routers & all kinds of hand tools to fabricate custom, large-scale exhibits, events, activations, and environments Alongside your Lead and Project Manager, you will decide the best way to fabricate something. You will work from “detail” drawings through complete assembly. You will get to be creative ad tactical every day. You will build cool stuff You can see it, touch it and be proud of what you have created Nut and bolts: Adhere to all safety warnings and guidelines while keeping a safe working environment Operate hand and power tools, machinery, and equipment safely Maintain a clean, tidy workspace Fabricate various items to meet project & company needs Read and interpret project specific drawings Check finished work to verify that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints or specified by the project teams Assist Job Leads with the fabrication, pack, installation, and facilitation as needed for projects Complete tasks such as but not limited to workspace management and inventory upkeep and miscellaneous tasks Participate in onsite calls and installation calls to maintain or repair scenery as needed Any added tasks as requested by the Shop Foreman We are an energetic and creative group with lofty expectations for all our employees. 1 year(s) work experience in a woodworking, cabinet shop, exhibit or POP fabrication shop Knowledge of high-end wood fabrication-cabinetry, furniture, exhibit and fixture fabrication Organized and a solid communicator You pay attention to the details—you have a dedication to excellence.
