Lead Mechanical Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in projects and process improvement within a production environment? Or are you working in nuclear, food or chemical industry looking for a route into the pharmaceutical industry. An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join a team in Liverpool – on a permanent basis. About the organisation: You will be working for a leading pharmaceutical organisation that specialises in the development of aseptic products. About the Job: As Lead Mechanical Engineer you will be involved in plant modifications and engineering projects to meet strategic performance targets. You will also provide technical leadership within the process and reliability engineering department. You will support process improvement projects linked to the site's production areas. You will plan all process engineering activities on site. About you: You will be a degree qualified engineer with a background in mechanical engineering, or a related subject. Strong technical engineering experience is required but the client is open on any regulated industry experience. Chartered engineer or expected to be working towards Recent Team Leadership experience required Production engineering experience. Process improvement project experience. Broad engineering knowledge and experience, including End to End Primary/ Fill Finish and Utilities. Identify opportunities for process improvements. Lead complex cross-functional process changes (independently).
