✨ Job Titl e: Software Architect Salary : Up to £95k Location : Hybrid – Gateshead (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Join a pioneering technology company driving innovation in Edge computing Your Role: I am looking for a Software Architect to take a senior technical leadership role in designing and delivering cutting-edge software solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable, cloud-native applications and leading development teams to create robust, production-ready solutions. What you'll be doing: Providing senior technical leadership in software design and development. Leading the transition of on-premise solutions to hosted web services. Architecting and deploying scalable, enterprise-grade applications. Driving best practices in CI/CD, leveraging microservices, containerisation, and orchestration technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI, to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences. Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Ensuring security best practices are embedded in development and deployment processes. Mentoring and guiding engineering teams to ensure alignment with the company’s technical vision. What I'm looking for: Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role within a software product development team. Strong frontend and backend expertise, with proficiency in technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Go, Java, or Python. Experience in designing and developing enterprise applications hosted as web services. Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. Understanding of security best practices for web applications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align stakeholders on a unified technical vision. What’s in it for you?
