Electrical Engineer

About the Role: Our client, a leader in the engineering and energy sector, is seeking a highly competent Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of electrical systems, focusing on Eskom projects. Create and review detailed technical drawings using MicroStation software. Perform engineering calculations, technical reports, and risk assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables meet client specifications and industry standards. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and ECSA standards. Qualifications & Experience Required: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc). Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa). A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, including Eskom projects . Proficient in MicroStation and other relevant design/drafting software. Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and substation design. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
