Lead IT Project Manager

Location: Homebased with commutable distance to Darlington, Peterlee or HuddersfieldDuration: Fixed term for 18 months We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of IT change projects within our organisation. Working closely with Technology Business Partners, you will ensure project requirements are clearly articulated, prioritised and aligned with our wider IT delivery plan. You will oversee a portfolio of IT projects, managing risks, resources, and governance while ensuring high-quality project execution. Key responsibilities include: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and key milestones. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets, ensuring mitigation strategies. Define and enforce IT project governance, standards and frameworks. Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships across all levels, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders when needed. About You First of all, you have proven experience in delivering IT projects, preferably in Agile environment. You have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage resources within a collaborative team-based environment. You are familiar with different change models, demonstrating confidence and robustness in delivery. You have the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and drive successful project outcomes.
