Senior Social Worker - Walsall Council Salary: £33.30 per hour As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable children and families. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting initial assessments to screen and assess the needs of children and families referred to the service. Undertaking child protection work, including risk assessments and the development of safety plans for children at risk. Responding to urgent cases and managing crisis situations as the first point of contact within the duty system. Managing a varied caseload, developing comprehensive care plans, and conducting regular case reviews. Collaborating effectively with professionals from health, education, and other agencies to provide holistic support to families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and preparing reports as required.
