ROLE OVERVIEW We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join a leading biotechnology company based in the London area. As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing data infrastructure, leveraging your technical expertise to support the company's innovative mission. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Data Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Design and implement scalable data architecture to support the company's data needs. 2. Optimize performance and ensure data quality and reliability across all systems. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues while continuously improving data processes and workflows. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Data Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. Proven industry experience in data engineering within a biotech organisation. 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Snowflake, Python, and Azure.
