Software Systems Engineer Salary: Up to £60,000 | Working: Hybrid | Location: Newcastle upon Tyne About the Role: Are you an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in system integration and project delivery? Revorec is recruiting for a leading energy sector solutions provider seeking a seasoned Software Systems Engineer. In this role, you’ll drive system integration, oversee technical documentation, lead testing/QA, and manage project delivery—all within a dynamic, hybrid working environment. Key Responsibilities: Integration & Engineering: Manage data flows and IT infrastructure, translating client needs into tailored software solutions. Testing & QA: Lead integration testing (component, FAT, SAT) and maintain high-quality standards. Project Delivery: Plan, execute, and manage projects to meet deadlines and budgets while liaising with clients and suppliers. Mentorship: Support and develop junior team members. Candidate Profile: 10 years’ experience in software engineering, system integration, and project management. Proficiency with Linux, virtualisation, networking, GIT, JIRA, and related tools. Familiarity with AWS environments, including setup and maintenance. Scripting experience beneficial. Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills. Interested?
