As a Software Engineer III, you will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data flow between various systems. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing our services and ensuring efficient operations in the industry. Responsibilities: • Design and develop RESTful APIs, facilitating the integration of our services • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions • Write efficient, maintainable code using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate • Optimize Hibernate queries for high performance and reliability • Conduct code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members • Troubleshoot and resolve API performance and integration issues • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies • Ensure effective communication with team members and stakeholders • Oversee the automation of compliance processes • Maintain a strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and regulation adherence. • Must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders • Understanding and adherence to compliance procedures and regulations is required • Should have a keen eye for quality and be able to ensure high standards in all tasks • Proficient in database management and design • Must have a strong understanding of software design patterns and principles • Proficiency in the 'About Time' software or similar project management tools is a plus • Should have strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues • Knowledge of regulations within the software industry is necessary • Experience with automation tools and techniques is essential • Understanding of best practices in software development is necessary • Must be able to optimize code for performance and scalability • Experience with Oracle database management is a plus • Proficiency in cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, is required • Must have experience in integration of different software components • Ability to write and optimize SQL queries is necessary • Must be able to work effectively in a team • Proficiency in Java programming language is required • Should have experience in KPI reporting and data analysis • Must be able to verify software functionality through rigorous testing • Ability to effectively resolve issues and mitigate project risks is necessary • Experience with REST API design and development is required • Must possess a degree in Computer Sciences or a related field • Proficiency in R Code or similar statistical programming languages is a plus • Experience in backend development is a must.
