Job Description Job Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal in Costa Mesa, California. The successful candidate will be working in a high-paced environment, dealing with litigation cases, mass toxic torts, and products liability. Responsibilities: • Manage a large volume of cases, ensuring all are processed and handled efficiently. • Utilize skills in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for case management. • Draft and prepare shells for trial. • Administer claims and manage calendars, ensuring all legal deadlines are met. • Provide support during trial, including potential travel and courtroom attendance. • Leverage knowledge of products liability, personal injury, construction defect, or wrongful death cases. • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, attorneys, and court personnel. • Use CompuLaw for managing deadlines and billing functions. • Brief team members on case updates and progress. • Carry out other paralegal duties as required. • Experience with Case Management Software for efficient case handling • Ability to work with CompuLaw for time and billing management • Proficiency in handling billing functions • Experience in briefing and presenting case summaries • Strong skills in calendar management, ensuring timely case progression • Knowledge of claim administration procedures • Excellent communication skills for effective liaising with clients and team • Proven experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence
