Position Overview: Location: Highlands, NC Caseload: 35 students (K-12) Setting: Resource Room Schedule: Full-Time (In-Person Only) Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized and group instruction to students with diverse needs Collaborate with classroom aides and facilitators to deliver effective, tailored support Create and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) in alignment with students' needs Utilize ECATS (Exceptional Childrens Assistance Technology System) for tracking and reporting Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Communicate effectively with families and staff to ensure student success Requirements: Must be a licensed Special Education Teacher (EC Teacher) Familiarity with ECATS is a must Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team with classroom aides/facilitators Passionate about working with students of all abilities Why Join Us?
