Special Education Teacher Opportunity in Willimantic ProCare Therapy is hiring a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming school district in the Willimantic area. If you are licensed in Connecticut and eager to make a difference in students' lives, wed love to hear from you Position Highlights: Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success. Develop and manage compliant Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Provide emotional support and teach essential coping skills to empower students. Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress regularly. Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Support students during key transitions, whether advancing grades or preparing for adulthood. Implement behavioral interventions to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
