Nixa, MO | Special Education Teacher | 24-25 School Year Overview: Join a dedicated team at a leading school in Nixa, MO as a Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is available immediately and will continue through the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Manage a K-12 caseload onsite. Assess and identify students' skills and learning needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate with parents and school staff to track and support student progress. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Education required. Masters or Doctoral Degree in Special Education preferred. Valid MO SPED Teaching License/Certification. Compliance with No Child Left Behind (NCLB) standards. CDE Certification required. ASD Endorsement preferred. Minimum of 3 years of school-based experience.
