This role involves managing a resource room and providing tailored support to students with ASD. Job Responsibilities : Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ASD. Provide direct instruction and support in a resource room setting. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure student success. Maintain compliance with federal and state special education guidelines. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed. Qualifications : Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field. Active teaching certification in Special Education with an endorsement in ASD for the state of Michigan. Experience working with elementary-aged students with ASD is preferred.
