Position Overview: We are seeking for an additional experienced Strategic Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with our largest Sporting Goods Retailers in U.S. This role focuses on enhancing long-term partnerships, driving sales growth, and aligning our company's strategic goals with the unique needs of each account. The successful candidate will be a key player in managing pre-existing high-value accounts, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring consistent client satisfaction. Again, pre-existing relationships is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Serve as one of the primary point of contact for assigned Sporting Goods retail accounts, fostering trusted relationships to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute customized account strategies to meet revenue growth targets, aligning both client and company objectives. Sales Growth: Identify upselling and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client needs and aligning them with our product offerings. Client Advocacy: Act as the client advocate internally, collaborating with marketing, product development, and operations to deliver customized solutions. Performance Monitoring: Track key account metrics, sales performance, and profitability, providing regular updates to leadership and adjusting strategies as needed. Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to anticipate client needs and offer proactive solutions. Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions to maximize value for both the client and the company. Reporting: Prepare detailed business reviews, forecasting, and sales reports to monitor progress and guide decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the retail or sporting goods sector. Pre-existing relationships with large sporting retailers is highly preferred Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and supply chain management. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on consultative selling. Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and create actionable strategies. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
