Job Description Job Description Project Coordinator - Facilities Department - R.A. Heath Construction & Millwork, Inc. RA Heath is an EMPLOYEE OWNED COMPANY RA Heath Facilities Department is currently looking for an In-House Project Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the Facilities Project Coordinator is to coordinate and direct activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame. The Project Coordinator is responsible for project planning and performance: quality; production; specification and contract compliance. The Project Coordinator will interface with customers (and their representatives), General Contractors, vendors, production team and management to ensure a successful project delivery, and customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities: · Defines and tracks essential checkpoints to ensure timely progress of each piece of the project · Capturing and communicating project details and expectations to customers and other stakeholders · Participating in the design process by recording ideas, coordinating shop drawings and receiving and recording approvals of shop submissions · Provides status updates of projects to management, the engineering team and production team in weekly meetings · Resolve problems discovered during any phase of the project lifecycle by proposing solutions Requirements: · Knowledge of construction industry in general is a plus · Proficiency in use of computer and software programs such as Excel, Word, Smartsheets (a plus) and Outlook. · Previous project coordinating experience a plus, but not required · Must have Excellent time management and ability to achieve deadlines Stellar organizational skills and communication skills Preferred Professional and Personal Qualifications: · Ability to work under tight and changing deadlines; · Problem solving and get-it-done attitude; · Entrepreneurial approach; · Ability to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: Related to Experience Benefits Offered : Medical, Dental, Vision, ESOP, 401K, PTO Company Description R.A.
