Position Overview: As a School-Based COTA, you will work collaboratively with occupational therapists and school staff to support students with diverse needs. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic interventions, assisting with assessments, and promoting student independence in daily activities. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy programs. Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in various settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a prehensive approach to student support. Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans. Qualifications: Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Current Illinois State licensure or eligibility for licensure. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
