Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists to support inclusive classroom practices. Utilize positive behavioral support strategies to foster a productive learning environment. municate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals. Maintain accurate records and documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and pliance records. Stay informed of the latest special education research and techniques through professional development. Qualifications: Required Education and Licensure: Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II Certificate with a Special Education endorsement. pletion of the Praxis Special Education Core Knowledge and Applications (test 5354) or equivalent state-required assessments. Clearance certificates, including: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) Pennsylvania Criminal History Background Check (Act 34) Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Fingerprinting Clearance (Act 114) Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Special Education or a related field. Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting. Familiarity with Pennsylvania state and federal laws regarding special education, including IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive learning tools.
