We have an immediate opening for a passionate educator to join our team, supporting students with severe to complex visual impairments. Position Details: Location : Pittsburgh, PA (In-Person Preferred, Virtual Option Available for Full-Time) Start Date : ASAP End Date : June 2025 Schedule : Monday - Friday, either 8:15 a.m. 3:30 p.m. or 7:45 a.m. 3:00 p.m. Employment Type : Full-Time or Part-Time Available Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction for visually impaired students with severe to complex needs Collaborate with other educational staff to adapt curriculum and materials Support students learning goals and personal development Qualifications: Preferred : Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Open to : Special Education Teachers (SPED) interested in training for this role, with support in applying for an emergency permit Ability to work as a long-term substitute, if needed Compensation : Competitive pay starting at $50/hr This is a great opportunity for both experienced and aspiring TVIs or SPED professionals passionate about making a difference in students lives.
