Pharmacy Technician (Prison)

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Pharmacy Technicians for block booking/contract positions working within a Liverpool based Prison setting. Roles available at the moment within a NHS Prison setting in Liverpool, for Band 5 Pharmacy Technicians. These roles do not require any previous experience of working within a Prison. The posts in question are available full time, working long day shifts, and can offer up to 5 long day shifts The requirement for this role is a block booking - unfortunately adhoc shift work is not available, we are looking for commitment of 3 shifts a week but can offer up to 5. BAND 5 - Pharmacy Technicians responsibilities; Accurately dispense medicines and highly complex dose regimes including compliance aids Supervise and train new starters, apprentices, assistants, qualified or student technicians Provision of a quality service, demonstrating reliability in routine dispensing of medication Participate in rota for Accuracy Checkers, checking items that have been dispensed by pharmacy staff for issue to individual patients These posts are band 5 and paying up to £24.00 per hour, depending on shifts pattern.
