Tendering/Estimating Engineer (Electrical HV) Permanent role £40-000 - £60,000 Hybrid - West Midlands Sustainable Talent have engaged with an engineering firm who specialise in designing and installing electricity connections for businesses, industries, and commercial properties. They manage the entire process, from design to final switch-on, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step. Role Description The Tendering/Estimating Engineer will develop designs and planning for tender and quotation stages of ICP projects. Key tasks include liaising with clients, DNOs, and iDNOs, ensuring compliance with legal and design standards, and supporting design approval processes. Roles & Responsibilities Produce compliant designs based on customer and DNO requirements Understand and apply DNO G81 and ENA ER standards Manage project details in the Business Management System Provide accurate cost estimates for proposals Manage project timelines and customer expectations Promote Health, Safety, and Quality at all times Ensure legal compliance and risk assessments are completed Stay current on legislation and Rock Power policies Desirable Spec/Experience Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and in teams Excellent communication skills for client liaison Ability to travel across the UK as needed Professional attitude Relevant industry experience and training If you are interested in learning more, please apply online
