MongoDB Developer - IT Risk & Compliance

MongoDB Developer Experience : 5 years Location : Pune/Hyderabad Responsibilities : - Design and develop MongoDB databases, collections, and schemas to effectively store and manage party data for banking clients - Implement efficient data ingestion, processing, and retrieval workflows using MongoDB features and tools, adhering to banking industry standards - Optimize MongoDB database performance, including indexing, sharding, and replication strategies, to meet the high availability and low latency requirements of the banking sector - Ensure data security and compliance, implementing access controls, encryption, and backup/recovery processes in accordance with banking regulations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance and risk management, to understand data requirements and translate them into MongoDB solutions - Participate in the continuous improvement of our party data infrastructure, proposing and implementing enhancements to meet the evolving needs of the banking industry - Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for MongoDB-powered party data systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to banking operations - Stay up-to-date with the latest MongoDB features, best practices, and industry trends, particularly in the banking and financial services sectors - Work effectively within a large, complex banking organization, adhering to established controls, policies, and procedures - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data management and security in the banking industry Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5 years of experience as a MongoDB Developer or Database Administrator, with a focus on the banking or financial services industry - Proven expertise in MongoDB database design, querying, and administration for mission-critical banking applications - Hands-on experience with MongoDB features, such as aggregation, sharding, and replication, in a high-performance, high-availability environment - Thorough understanding of data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning techniques for banking-specific workloads - Strong knowledge of data security and compliance requirements in the banking industry, including experience working with regulators - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including compliance and risk management, and adapt to organizational processes and controls - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on delivering reliable and secure data solutions for the banking sector - Experience in the party data domain, particularly in the banking industry, is highly desirable (ref:hirist.tech)
