Prophix Developer

Job Description Job Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced Prophix Consultant to lead a Prophix replumbing and rewiring project for a local client in the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have expert-level Prophix experience , a strong understanding of financial systems , and the ability to customize and optimize the backend using MDX . Key Responsibilities Conduct an upfront discovery process in collaboration with the CFO and Director of Finance to assess current Prophix functionality and business needs. Analyze, update, and customize the backend of Prophix to align with the company’s evolving financial reporting structure. Utilize MDX (Multidimensional Expressions) to optimize data structures and improve reporting accuracy. Ensure smooth integration with existing financial systems while addressing user needs. Provide technical expertise and guidance to finance and IT teams, ensuring best practices are followed. Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders. Expert-level experience with Prophix software , including implementation, customization, and troubleshooting. Strong MDX (Multidimensional Expressions) expertise for Prophix backend customization. Deep understanding of financial systems , particularly in relation to reporting and data modeling. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills —able to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative and adaptable personality , making it easy to work with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex financial and technical requirements . Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have): Experience working in corporate finance or accounting environments . Background in business intelligence, FP& A, or financial reporting solutions . Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools related to financial planning.
