Senior Data Architect

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop robust and scalable data architectures for various business domains, including data lakes, data warehouses, data pipelines, and data marts. - Ensure data solutions are aligned with business requirements, industry best practices, and enterprise architecture standards. - Define data models, data quality rules, and data governance policies. - Conduct thorough data analysis and impact assessments to identify potential risks and challenges. - Leverage cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to design and implement cloud-native data solutions. - Utilize cloud-based services such as data warehousing, data lakes, data streaming, and machine learning platforms. - Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in the cloud environment. - Design and implement data security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and breaches. - Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). - Implement robust data governance and data quality controls. - Collaborate with data engineers and other IT teams to implement data solutions. - Provide technical guidance and support to development teams. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of data solutions and make necessary adjustments. - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data technologies and industry best practices. - Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve data solutions. - Contribute to the development and improvement of data architecture standards and best practices within the organization. Required Skills & Experience : - 6 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field. - Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, data pipelines, and other data integration technologies. - Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native data services. - Proficiency in data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, data vault). - Experience with data quality and data governance best practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Preferred Skills & Experience : - Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). - Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer Associate).
