OpenShift/Kubernetes Administrator - Red Hat

Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes Administrator with a strong background in container platforms and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem, ensuring smooth container tenant provisioning, isolation, and capacity management. The role demands a solid understanding of Linux, virtualization, networking, and security, as well as experience in DevOps practices, automation tools, and orchestration systems. Key Responsibilities : - Administer and support the OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem. - Manage container platforms, including provisioning, isolation, capacity, and lifecycle management for: Kubernetes (K8s) EKS, AKS, GKE - Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to manage and expand platform capacity and deliver new capabilities. - Provide Level 3 support for the platform and ensure high availability and performance. - Develop and maintain system lifecycle processes to manage and operate infrastructure effectively. - Implement and manage DevOps tools such as CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, and AirFlow. - Automate platform tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and StackStorm. - Design, implement, and integrate with Open APIs and orchestration tools (CMP). - Collaborate with application development teams to support application lifecycles and ensure seamless integration with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong expertise in OpenShift Platform and Kubernetes administration. - Proficiency in container platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, etc. - Solid understanding of Linux administration, virtualization, networking, and security. - Practical experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, AirFlow). - Proficient in automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and StackStorm. - Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. - Knowledge of Open APIs and integration with orchestration tools. - Familiarity with application development lifecycles and container lifecycle Qualifications : - Certification in Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes Administration is a plus. - Hands-on experience with orchestration tools in a cloud environment. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration Profile : - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team. - Strong analytical and organizational skills. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and deliver solutions efficiently.
