Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python. - Create and refine testing frameworks to enhance test coverage. - Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of applications. - Collaborate with developers to understand application requirements and functionality. - Analyze test results and troubleshoot defects in the software. - Integrate automated tests with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Document automated test cases, procedures, and results clearly. - Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives. - Assist in user acceptance testing to validate software against requirements. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation. - Establish performance benchmarks and conduct performance testing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes. - Mentor junior team members in Python programming and test automation. - Report on testing status, defects, and test coverage to management. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 2 years of experience in test automation or quality assurance. - Proficiency in Python programming and writing automation scripts. - Experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar testing frameworks. - Familiarity with RESTful API testing and tools such as Postman. - Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN. - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. - Experience in a CI/CD environment, using Jenkins or similar tools. - Familiarity with cloud services and containerization (e.g, Docker) is a plus. - Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
