Oracle Apps Test Engineer

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Participate in requirements gathering and analysis sessions. - Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies for Oracle EBS Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets). - Design, develop, and execute test cases (functional, integration, regression, user acceptance) using industry-standard methodologies. - Create and maintain test data for testing purposes. - Execute test cases manually and through automated testing tools. - Log and track defects in a bug tracking system (Jira, Bugzilla). - Monitor and analyze test results, identify and report on testing progress and issues. - Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders. - Participate in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT, or other relevant automation frameworks. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework. - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues. - Contribute to the improvement of software quality and testing processes. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3 years of experience in testing Oracle EBS Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets). - Strong understanding of Oracle EBS Finance functionalities and business processes. - Experience in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases. - Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, UFT,) is a plus. - Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
