Network Engineer - MPLS

Job Description : We are looking for a Network Engineer with expertise in implementing and migrating IP/MPLS network transport systems to support MPLS VPN traffic and internet services from the Gateway. This role requires hands-on experience with multi-vendor scenarios, including Cisco, Huawei, and Nokia network equipment, in an ISP/telecom service provider environment. Key Responsibilities : - Implement and support IP/MPLS network transport systems, focusing on MPLS VPN traffic, internet services, and multi-vendor environments. - Troubleshoot networking technologies including MPLS, VPRN/VRF, MP-BGP/BGP. - Manage the implementation and migration of MPLS Core networks with LDP/MPLS and ISIS as interior routing protocols. - Configure dynamic protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, and BGP within an MPLS/BGP environment. - Deploy designed network solutions at the ISP Gateway level. - Maintain and update network topology documents, design diagrams, and network inventory. - Troubleshoot hardware and operational issues in the Nokia deployed network and equipment. Required Skills & Experience : - Expertise in multi-vendor network environments (Cisco, Huawei, Nokia). - In-depth knowledge of MPLS, VPRN/VRF, MP-BGP/BGP, and routing protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP). - Hands-on experience with implementing and troubleshooting IP/MPLS networks in an ISP/Telecom provider environment. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. - Proficiency in maintaining and creating network documentation and design diagrams.
