About our client: A global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing large and small metal, plastic, fiber and hybrid packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, beverage, personal care and pharmaceuticals to chemicals, petrochemicals, agrochemicals and paints. Role Overview: Primary Objective Provide expert advice and sell company products. Protect against competition and drive company growth. Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers while building new ones. Achieve and exceed sales targets. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development Identify growth opportunities and generate long-term value. Conduct effective customer engagements and identify customer needs. Present solutions aligned with company products/services. Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline using Salesforce. Drive the sales process from initiation to closure, including contract implementation. Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet customer requirements. Provide feedback and after-sales support. Existing Customer Management Build and maintain relationships with current customers to ensure high service levels. Analyze sales against budgets and act to meet/exceed targets. Conduct cross-selling and bundling activities to expand business opportunities. Participate in Service Level Agreement discussions and customer presentations. Address customer complaints promptly and escalate concerns as needed. Forecast and plan for customer packaging requirements. Identify sourcing opportunities for new packaging solutions. Requirements: Education University degree or a technical/commercial apprenticeship. Skills Proficient in MS Office, Pastel, and Salesforce. Strong communication in English (isiZulu/Afrikaans is beneficial). Knowledge of the packaging industry and market trends. Experience Minimum 4 years in sales, preferably in the packaging industry. Attributes Hands-on, proactive, and assertive. Team and customer-oriented work ethic. Strong negotiation skills. Willingness to travel. Cost to Company: Basic Salary: R25,000.00 Travel Allowance Provident Fund Medical Aid 13th Cheque Incentives & great commission Total Monthly CTC: R51,700.00
