Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing innovative bulk material handling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural and mechanical design for heavy-duty equipment , strong CAD skills, and a solid understanding of material flow dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop bulk material handling systems , including conveyors, feeders, hoppers, and transfer chutes. Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar) . Conduct structural and mechanical analysis to ensure durability and performance. Work closely with project teams to develop customized solutions for clients. Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency . Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure seamless execution. Generate detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, specifications, and reports . Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements . Candidate Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field . 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within bulk material handling or heavy industrial equipment. Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.). Strong knowledge of structural design, steel fabrication, and wear-resistant materials . Understanding of material flow principles, chute design, and conveyor dynamics . Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and stress analysis is a plus.
