A great opportunity is available for an experienced Fitter and Turner to work in Midrand. The role is focused on assembling mechanical parts like motors, pumps, turbines, compressors, gearboxes, and bearings. If you have strong experience in mechanical assembly and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the job for you Qualifications: Trade qualification in Fitting and Turning (e.g., Trade Test Certificate or NQF Level 4). Extra training or certificates in turbine or compressor assembly (advantageous but not required). Job Experience and Skills Required: At least 8 years of experience in mechanical assembly work . Experience working with motors, pumps, turbines, compressors, gearboxes, and bearings. Knowledge of working with precision parts in a workshop or factory setting. Ability to use mechanical tools like micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches. Experience reading technical drawings and following instructions. Attention to detail and a strong focus on doing quality work. Understanding of safety rules in the workplace.
