JOB DESCRIPTION: Technical Manager - Field Line Manager POSITION: National Technical Manager DEPARTMENT: Technical Service MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: The incumbent needs to provide strategic direction to effectively and efficiently manage our technical resources in order to maximise revenue and margin growth opportunities. It will be required of the incumbent within the position to collaborate with all role players within the new matrix organisation to ensure teamwork and achievement of objectives. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Grade 12 or equivalent Minimum 3 years management experience Customer Service experience People management experience JOB REQUIREMENTS & OTHER ATTRIBUTES: KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: TECHNICAL TARGETS EHS PEOPLE MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION Minimum requirements Formal engineering or production management qualification 5-8 years Technical experience (Security industry experience advantageous) In excess of 5 years management experience Effective implementation and maintenance in quality control systems (and or processes) Experience in the implementation of job costing systems would be advantageous PSIRA registered (Grade A) Conversant in SAIDSA requirements DUTIES: Drive towards technical standardisation in the Regions Introduce effective job costing model /pricing strategy in the business in conjunction with finance and marketing Constantly evaluates new product offering in conjunction with procurement to ensure we meet customers expectations Facilitate high levels of quality installation / technical maintenance Ensure quality of staff and use of promotional structure and training Effectively manage subcontractor management Setting standards to ensure quality Effectively manage radio and system removal process to meet set standards Inculcate a strong focus on safety first and EHS Standards within the Region Inculcate a culture of quality and customer focus (improve NPS rating) Actively work towards enhancing employee engagement We reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
