Travel Health Nursing Practitioner (Contract)

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Travel Health Nursing Practitioner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pre-travel health consultations, administering vaccinations, offering travel health advice, and ensuring patients receive comprehensive guidance on travel-related health risks. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct pre-travel health assessments and provide individualized travel health advice. • Administer vaccinations and prescribe appropriate prophylactic medications. • Educate patients on travel-related health risks, including disease prevention, safety precautions, and medical preparedness. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. • Ensure compliance with medical and regulatory standards. • Stay updated on current travel health trends, vaccination requirements, and disease outbreaks. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and travel agencies to provide high-quality travel health services. Requirements: • Diploma in Nursing. • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). • Travel Health Qualification. • Valid Dispensing License. • Proficiency in computer applications and electronic medical records. Preferred Attributes: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Passion for travel medicine and patient education. • Ability to provide a patient-centered approach to healthcare. Working Hours: • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 13:00 • Twice a year on a Saturday morning Application Process:
