Position Summary : Wolters Kluwer India Pvt Ltd (Pune) seeks a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our Pune Global In-house Center (GIC). This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of our products. Key Responsibilities : Test Planning & Design : - Collaborate with product teams to understand performance requirements, identify test objectives, and define the testing scope. - Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, including workload modeling, test data creation, and performance metrics. Test Scripting & Execution : - Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools like LoadRunner, Visual Studio, JMeter, and other relevant tools. - Execute performance tests in various environments (e., on-premises, cloud) according to the defined test plan. - Monitor test execution, analyze results, and identify performance bottlenecks and issues. Issue Analysis & Reporting : - Analyze performance test results, identify root causes of performance problems, and generate comprehensive reports with clear findings and recommendations. - Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. Cloud Infrastructure Expertise : - Leverage cloud technologies, particularly Azure, for performance testing and infrastructure provisioning. Technical Proficiency : - Strong programming skills in C/JS, C#, or similar languages with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. - Working knowledge of database technologies, particularly SQL Server. Communication & Collaboration : - Effectively communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders (e., developers, product managers). - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications : Experience : - 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in performance testing. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in performance testing tools (LoadRunner, Visual Studio, JMeter preferred). - Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with cloud computing, particularly Azure. - Experience with scripting languages (C/JS, C#, etc.) and OOP concepts. - Working knowledge of databases, especially SQL Server.
