Production Soldering Technician

Qualifications: A matric certificate, but additional qualification(s) will be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Experience: IPC J-STD-001 certification. IPC-A-610 certification. Advanced soldering skills, with a focus on lead-free solder. Exceptional manual dexterity and precision, with the ability to handle small components and parts. Proven experience in high-quality PCA handling, ensuring minimal handling-induced failures. 2 years of experience in component handling and electronic assembly. Main Responsibilities: Accurately interpret and follow detailed verbal and written assembly instructions, including diagrams, schematics and other technical documents. Perform through-hole soldering of components using lead-free techniques. Conduct surface-mount soldering of custom RF components using lead-free processes and techniques. Clean and prepare soldered printed circuit assemblies (PCAs). Perform ongoing self-quality checks while executing tasks. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to the internal Quality Assurance Officer.
