Jet2 Travel Technologies - Senior Test Analyst - AEM

Job Description : Responsibilities : - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for AEM projects, covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Design and execute automated tests using appropriate tools (e., Selenium, Cucumber) for AEM components, workflows, and integrations. - Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives within an Agile Scrum environment. - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage. - Deep understanding of AEM architecture, components, workflows, and integrations. - Experience with AEM authoring, publishing, and asset management functionalities. - Strong knowledge of AEM templates, components, and content fragments. - Hands-on experience with AEM's touch UI and classic UI. - Experience in various testing methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. - Proficient in writing clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports. - Ability to analyze test results, identify and isolate defects, and track them to resolution. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks. - Experience with Web Application Testing, System Integration Testing, and API Testing using tools like Portman. - Hands-on experience with test data preparation techniques. - Good understanding of database querying using SQL Server. - Proficiency in using defect tracking tools (e., Jira). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. - Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end web application testing. - Prior experience of working with UK or other regions such as North America/EMEA/APAC is a plus. - Experience in Web Application Testing, System Integration Testing, API Testing using Portman and Release Support. - Hands-on experience in test cases designing, Test Data preparation, and defect reporting. - Good understanding of database querying using SQL Server. - Good analysis and troubleshooting skills. - Experience in projects executed in Agile Scrum model. - Excellent verbal and written and verbal communication skills. - Working experience of Agile/SCRUM/Kanban methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
