Job Description : Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement AEM components, templates, and workflows. - Integrate AEM with other systems using RESTful APIs, XML, and JSON. - Develop and maintain custom AEM components and services. - Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related issues. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. - Work closely with designers, content editors, and project managers to ensure project success. - Adhere to best practices for AEM development and maintainability. - Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM features and best practices. Mandatory Skills : - Strong understanding of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. - Experience with JCR, OSGI Services, REST APIs & Sling - In-depth knowledge of AEM's underlying architecture and core services. - Experience with all aspects of AEM Assets, including expertise in image and video transformations, optimizations, and delivery. - Experience with automated workflows for asset processing, metadata extraction, and delivery. - Experience with integrating AEM with other systems using RESTful APIs and handling data in XML and JSON formats. - Experience with using scripting languages for AEM development and customization. Good To Have Skills : - Experience with using Workfront for project management and collaboration. - Experience with using Workfront Fusion for automating workflows and integrations. - Possession of an AEM Developer certification is a plus - Proficiency in using Git for source code management and collaboration. - Experience with using build automation tools for AEM development and deployment. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Hands-on experience of using low-code, no-code integration platforms. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 3 years of experience in AEM development. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ref:hirist.tech)
