AWS Architect - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Architect with expertise in AWS-based application development and data management platforms. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications and data solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS services, microservices architecture, data lakes, and cloud-based ETL pipelines. Key Responsibilities : 1. AWS Architecture & Application Development : - Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS-based applications. - Develop cloud-native applications using Amplify, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, Fargate, and Step Functions. - Architect and manage serverless and containerized applications. - Lead the modernization of legacy applications to AWS-based microservices. - Define best practices for CI/CD automation using AWS DevOps tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy). 2. Data Management & Integration : - Design and implement data platforms, data lakes, and data pipelines on AWS using services like Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, and S3. - Develop ETL processes and data ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data. - Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for performance and cost-effectiveness. - Ensure data integrity, lineage, and compliance with industry regulations. 3. Security & Compliance : - Implement AWS security best practices using IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and WAF. - Ensure data protection, encryption, and access control for sensitive workloads. - Maintain compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR). 4. Performance Optimization & Monitoring : - Monitor and optimize AWS resources using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and AWS Cost Explorer. - Implement auto-scaling and high-availability strategies for AWS applications. - Ensure fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. 5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management : - Work closely with developers, data engineers, DevOps, and business teams to align cloud solutions with business goals. - Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers. - Create detailed architecture documentation and present solutions to stakeholders. Technical Skills : - Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS architecture, networking, and security. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation. - Database Management: Experience with Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and NoSQL databases. - Big Data & Analytics: Familiarity with AWS Glue, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis. - DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with Git, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Docker/Kubernetes. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work in an agile and collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications : - AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (or equivalent certification). - Experience with machine learning pipelines on AWS (SageMaker, Data Wrangler). - Knowledge of multi-cloud (Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
